Angel was at a loss about what to do about his old and leaking roof. The unstable roof made it difficult to heat the house efficiently. Since losing his job a few months prior, Angel and his wife were unable to pay for a replacement.
Then one day Angel mentioned his need to a friend at church. The friend recommended that he call Good Neighbors Home Repair and within a few weeks Angel not only qualified for assistance, but a work group from the same church volunteered to help Good Neighbors replace the entire roof, at no cost Angel.
A single mother and her two young children were in need of new windows throughout her home but the income from her job wasn’t enough to cover such a large expense. The weathered windows made the home drafty and cold and would be huge health and safety issue when the weather turned bad. She contacted Good Neighbors Home Repair and teen summer camp volunteers, along with project managers from Good Neighbors, replaced the windows in her home at no cost.
As the weather months set in, these two families will enjoy warm homes thanks in part to a new roof and new windows. But the warmth also comes from knowing that the Chester County community helps it neighbors.
