In the last few weeks, you’ve read about homeowners who have benefitted from the Share the Warmth home repair and winterization program. These brief glimpses into the lives of those in need highlight what a wonderful community Chester County offers its residents. The generosity shown by donors, volunteers, and others are at the heart of Share the Warmth and we thank you.
Since its inception, the Share the Warmth Program has provided 537 Chester County families with over $910,000 in home repairs and winterization projects. We know that the support you have shown means we will be able to add many families to that count.
Claudia Hellebush, President & CEO of United Way of Chester County, reminds us “It’s all about neighbors helping neighbors. By doing so, we work to make Chester County a wonderful place to live and work for ALL members of our community.”
Share the Warmth provides people in Chester County long term fixes through major home repairs and winterization projects and short term solutions for those facing homelessness or inadequate shelter. This work often means that families can stay in their own homes – warm, safe and dry – and those affected by the elements of winter are protected.
Contributions are still being accepted and are greatly appreciated.
Please make checks payable to United Way of Chester County and send to
